3. Establish a mechanism for payment of annual membership dues to the WSL. - WSL encourages the establishment of a voluntary student fee mechanism that is collected during class registration, however no specified process is required as long as annual dues are met. Membership dues are currently $0.75 per Full-time Equivalence (FTE) as allocated in the Washington State's Operating Budget or, in the case of community and technical colleges, as allocated by the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges. 4. Establish a travel budget for sending representatives to the WSL Board of Directors and General Assembly meetings. - WSL Board Meetings are held each month with the exception of July and August. Board meetings alternate between member campuses in September, October, December, April, and June. Board meetings during the legislative session (January through March) are held in Olympia at the State Capitol. The November and May Board meetings are held at Central Washington University and are followed immediately by the General Assembly. For more information on the Board of Directors and General Assembly check out the "Structure" page under the "About Us" tab. 5. Establish a contract with the WSL that contains the nature of the WSL chapter and mechanism for dues payment. |
